Cheryl Spinner

Cheryl Spinner is the Director of Bach to Rock Wayne, NJ and is so excited to be a part of this amazing music program! Cheryl earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a Concentration in Music Industry from Monmouth University. She interned at Columbia Records and has spent the last decade as Music Director for the country duo Spinn in addition to teaching and guiding performers and songwriters from the Tri-Sate Area. Cheryl is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and plays a unique Appalachian Country instrument called the Autoharp. Cheryl is thrilled to share her experience with the next generation of musicians!

Elena Conklin

Elena Conklin is our Administrative Assistant at Bach to Rock! She grew up here in Wayne and fell in love with music at a young age. She participated in choir in middle school and high school, and loves to sing for fun! Elena graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a BA in Music Industry. She’s so excited to help all Bach to Rock students, young and old, have an amazing learning experience and create long-lasting memories of music school to carry with them forever! Cailin

Cailin is one of our trumpet, ukelele, flute, clarinet, violin, and other brass instruments teacher at Bach to Rock! She graduated from the Crane School of Music with a bachelor’s in Music Education. Both at Crane and through student teaching and teaching in small group settings, she learned that every child is different and learns in their own unique way. It is Cailin’s goal and passion to help students learn while making lessons fun and engaging at Bach to Rock!

Casey

Casey is thrilled to be teaching voice and piano at Bach to Rock. She is studying Music Composition at Montclair State University. For over 10 years, she has been singing, playing, and performing and was a part of the first tour of A Christmas Story: The Musical. She has professional credits in musical theater and has experience performing pop, country, and jazz music as well. Being able to teach is an amazing opportunity for her, and she absolutely loves to watch her students improve!

Danny

Danny teaches piano, trumpet, voice and Early Childhood classes! He graduated from William Paterson University with a BA in Music. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, NJPAC, The Bushnell Performing Arts Center and prestigious ensembles such as New Jersey All-State Band, All-Eastern Honors Band, and the New Jersey Intercollegiate Ensemble. His favorite genres of music, including pop, classical, jazz, R&B, and rock. If you want to become an amazing piano player like Danny, he’s your guy!

Jocelynn M.

Jocelynn M. is a Voice, Piano, Guitar and Early Education teacher at Bach to Rock! She is a passionate educator and a multi-instrumentalist who loves teaching all ages. Jocelynn dreams of being a High School Choir and Musical Director and is earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Montclair State this May! She enjoys playing many different styles and genres of music and her favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Come on over to the school to meet Jocelynn and get started on your lessons with her today!

John

John is one of our awesome guitar and bass teachers! He has been playing guitar since he was 12 years old. He has been in bands since he was 14, and his current band is called Kreil. You can find the band’s music on streaming services! John has an associate degree in Guitar Performance from the County College of Morris and a Bachelor's degree in Music History and Industry from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He has been teaching for 3 years now, and is so excited to teach new students at Bach to Rock!

John

John is another one of our voice teachers here at B2R! He is a local musician and singer who is known throughout NJ for his talent and professionalism. John has a bachelor's degree in Voice Performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Throughout his college years and beyond John has performed in many productions throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. In addition, John has lent his talents to various recordings with the Grammy-nominated Williamson Voices. He is very excited to start helping aspiring singers find their voice!

Kevin

Kevin is our fantastic drum teacher, who received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with a concentration in Percussion from Caldwell University. He interned for Caldwell University’s Summer Intensive Percussion Camp working with famous drummers such as Tommy Igoe and Mark Guiliana. His music taste has a wide range such as jazz, classical, rock Latin, etc. If you’ve always wanted to become an awesome drummer, Kevin is the perfect teacher for you!

Linda

Linda teaches Kids N Keys, flute, and piano at Bach to Rock! She recently graduated from Immaculata University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. Linda had a concentration in flute and studied piano, guitar, and voice as well. During her time at Immaculata, Linda had a variety of music therapy practicum experiences. This included providing music therapy interventions for children with developmental disabilities and older adults with dementia. In addition to music, Linda enjoys running, spending time with friends, and traveling. She’s super excited to teach, help, and inspire students at Bach to Rock!

Nick

Nick, one of our guitar and bass teachers, is a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, session musician, and songwriter. His hometown resides in the country landscapes of Sussex County area in Glenwood, NJ. He recalls music as always playing an important role in his life since early childhood, and has been playing guitar for over a decade! As a graduate from The College of Saint Rose, he has been primarily noted for his guitar playing under the R&B/Soul, Jazz and Funk genres. You can find his music online via all streaming services! Paul

Paul teaches bass, guitar, and recording arts at Bach to Rock! He studies at Seton Hall University where he is getting his degree in Audio engineering. He has been playing bass guitar for 10 years and plays in several bands across New Jersey. Paul’s music background ranges from classical to metal. In high school, he played acoustic bass in the symphony orchestra and in a jazz ensemble. In addition, he plays in the Seton Hall jazz ensemble and in a few local metal bands. He is very excited to teach at B2R!

Stephanie

Stephanie brings so much fun and energy to Bach to Rock's Early Education Program! Steph teaches Rock N Roll, Rock City, Piano, and Voice. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music with a Concentration in Music Industry from Monmouth University, has performed and toured all over the East Coast and travels to Nashville to write and perform country music as half of Country duo Spinn. Steph has a great passion for performance and enjoys watching her tiny students fall in love with music every week!
