Cheryl Spinner is the Director of Bach to Rock Wayne, NJ and is so excited to be a part of this amazing music program! Cheryl earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a Concentration in Music Industry from Monmouth University. She interned at Columbia Records and has spent the last decade as Music Director for the country duo Spinn in addition to teaching and guiding performers and songwriters from the Tri-Sate Area. Cheryl is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and plays a unique Appalachian Country instrument called the Autoharp. Cheryl is thrilled to share her experience with the next generation of musicians!

Christine Bochicchio is the Assistant Director of Bach to Rock Wayne, NJ, and is thrilled to be a part of such a unique and fun program that provides an astounding experience for music students of all ages! Christine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a focus in Songwriting at Berklee College of Music. She is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and pianist who writes and releases music under the artist name Lavender Disaster. She also performs in a cover band called No Time Lost, that plays rock and pop anthems from the 60s to today throughout New Jersey. Christine is elated to provide a rocking music experience for students and parents at Bach to Rock Wayne, NJ!
Carolina is our violin, voice, piano and guitar teacher at Bach to Rock! She is a recent Montclair State University graduate who aims to open her own music school one day! Her involvement in the choral community has presented many national and international performance opportunities over the years. Carolina is classically trained and has a great interest in musical genres like Latin and Jazz. She is ready and eager to help her students grow as musicians at B2R Wayne, NJ!
Casey is thrilled to be teaching voice and piano at Bach to Rock. She is studying Music Composition at Montclair State University. For over 10 years, she has been singing, playing, and performing and was a part of the first tour of A Christmas Story. She has professional credits in musical theater and has experience performing pop, country, and jazz music as well. Being able to teach is an amazing opportunity for her, and she absolutely loves to watch her students improve!
Deanna is so excited to be teaching voice lessons at Bach to Rock! She is currently studying at Montclair State University to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Deanna is classically trained and has been studying voice for twelve years. She is a proud alumni of Paper Mill Playhouse’s Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory and The New Jersey Performing Arts Center’s Summer Musical Theatre Intensive. Some of Deanna’s favorite musical artists are Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and Ariana Grande. She appreciates all styles of music and enjoys the adventure in learning more! Isabelle is one of our piano, ukulele, and voice teachers! She is currently studying to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with a focus in Classical Percussion at William Paterson University Honors College. Isabelle is a multi-instrumentalist and often finds herself listening, studying, and creating all different types of music! She enjoys studying the great works of Bach, Ella Fitzgerald, and Debussey while also jamming out to Billie Eilish or singing to any Music Theatre song! Isabelle had the pleasure of mentoring with Broadway orchestrator and conductor Kris Kukul and Broadway percussionist Joshua Samuels in Beetlejuice the Musical in 2019. Her favorite musical memory was her time performing with the Drum Corps Associates, The Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017 & 2018. She absolutely loves to teach and learn from her students. Isabelle's teaching style promotes growth, creativity, and retention. In her teaching, she gets to know each and every one of her students and makes sure they're having the best time ever at B2R while also getting a quality education! James is ecstatic to teach drums and piano at Bach to Rock Wayne, NJ! He is currently studying Classical Music Education and playing percussion at William Paterson University. He aspires to become a band director with his own music program, such as in symphonic band, jazz band, and marching band! He has been playing and performing music ever since elementary school, where he has since evolved his musical abilities to experience a multitude of opportunities. He has performed with United Percussion, a WGI World Class indoor percussion ensemble, and currently performs with the award-winning Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps! He has also taught in a variety of settings, such as instrumental music camps and high school marching band. When James is not teaching or performing, he enjoys listening to various genres of music, such as jazz and R&B, and composing his own music. He is beyond excited to be teaching at Bach to Rock and hopes that his students are just as excited to learn!
John is one of our awesome guitar and bass teachers! He has been playing guitar since he was 12 years old. He has been in bands since he was 14, and his current band is called Kreil. You can find the band’s music on streaming services! John has an associate degree in Guitar Performance from the County College of Morris and a Bachelor's degree in Music History and Industry from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He has been teaching for 3 years now, and is so excited to teach new students at Bach to Rock!
Katie is so excited to be teaching Kids n Keys, Piano, and Flute lessons at Bach to Rock! She is currently studying to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at Montclair State University. She started teaching private lessons to students in 2017 and absolutely fell in love with it! She also loves to listen to and play all different genres of music, which is another reason why she loves B2R! Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the progress her students make! Kevin is one of our fantastic drums and guitar teacher, who received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with a concentration in Percussion from Caldwell University. He interned for Caldwell University’s Summer Intensive Percussion Camp working with famous drummers such as Tommy Igoe and Mark Guiliana. His music taste has a wide range such as jazz, classical, rock Latin, etc. If you’ve always wanted to become an awesome drummer, Kevin is the perfect teacher for you!
Luca is one of our guitar teachers at Bach to Rock Wayne, NJ. He is a multi-instrumentalist, who has been performing music on stage since he was six years old. Luca has performed all along the East Coast at many different music venues. His most exciting musical moment was performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. He is attending William Paterson University, where he is studying Music and Sound Engineering. He has been teaching kids to rock on stage for 3 years now in summer camp groups and in private lessons. His earliest influences were bands like KISS, Green Day, and The Beatles. Over the years, his musical versatility has led him to playing music of many different genres like jazz, funk, and metal. He is also involved in a few bands as well as a solo musician. Luca is very grateful for the opportunity he was given to work at Bach to Rock and is excited to teach his students how to become better musicians!
Nick S. is absolutely stoked to be teaching guitar, piano, uke, bass, and voice! He is studying music education at Montclair State University and has been playing a variety of music on many different instruments for about a decade. He has a lot of experience playing in bands, his current one being Nick and the Leg-Heavy Boys (which you can find on all audio streaming platforms and also Youtube)! He is a classically trained vocalist, and has sung and played everything from Opera to Punk. He's also dabbled with musical theater, winning the Papermill Playhouse Rising Star award for Best Supporting Actor in 2018 for the role of J. Bowden Hapgood in Anyone Can Whistle. He's also a songwriter! B2R's mission of keeping music fun is something that Nick supports fully, and he's psyched to show you the ropes!
Rachel is excited to be teaching voice, flute, piano and early education classes at Bach to Rock! She is a graduate of Montclair State University where she studied Music Education and Special Education. She is currently an elementary music teacher in Bergen county, too! Rachel is classically trained in voice, but her interests also include a wide variety of Broadway, jazz and pop! She enjoys making lessons fun and engaging for all of her students! Shannen is very excited about being a part of the Bach to Rock Wayne family as a vocal and early education instructor! Growing up in a household filled with music, she has loved to sing for as long as she can remember. With the support of her parents, Shannen began her vocal training at twelve years old, studying with acclaimed voice teacher Justin Stoney. She was fortunate to be accepted into one of Manhattan’s notable performing arts high schools, Professional Children’s School. After graduating in 2014, Shannen attended Circle in the Square Theater School, a conservatory in Manhattan accepting only fifty-four students into their program each year. In 2015, Shannen was lucky enough to debut at New York City’s famous piano bar, Don’t Tell Mama, where she performed fifteen songs for a sold-out audience. Shannen continues to make a name for herself in New York and New Jersey, singing at venues such as Jazz at Kitano, Swine, Cleopatra’s Needle, Rock n’ Joes, and many more. Shannen is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance with Berklee College of Music. She can't wait to be a part of her students' musical journeys here at B2R!
